Part Time Aide- Middle School

The Egg Harbor City Public School District has the following position available for the 2025-2026 school year:

• 1 Part-Time (.85FTE/29.9 hours/week) Classroom Aide

Location: Middle School

JOB FUNCTION: 

To assist the classroom teacher in providing a well-organized, smoothly functioning educational environment in which students may take full advantage of the instructional programs and available resource materials.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. High school diploma; minimum NCLB Paraprofessional mandated requirements as defined by the NJ Higher Education Assistance Authority (60 College Credits)
2. Minimum experience as determined by the board
3. Knowledge of child growth and development and appropriate classroom practices and demonstrated ability to assist with instructional activities
4. Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents and school staff
5. Required criminal history background check and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status
