Staff Needed: One (1) Out of District Child Study Team Social Worker

Qualifications:

Hold a valid New Jersey educational services certificate in accordance with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 18A:27.1 et seq., and N.J.A.C. Title 6 Chapter 11 with a school social worker endorsement (N.J.A.C. 6:11-11.8) and other appropriate endorsement(s) in accordance with the requirements of N.J.A.C. 6:11-10.1 et seq.
Certificate - MUST BE ELECTRONICALLY AVAILABLE IN APPLITRACK
Experience working on a Child Study Team
Must have experience with Out of District placements and Private Schools for Students with Disabilities
Demonstrate an understanding of current rules and regulations with federal and state mandated special education timelines
Experience working with high school age students and children with special needs
Have ability to relate to and work with children with disabilities
Excellent interpersonal skills, integrity, and good mroal character
Demonstrate the ability to collaborate with staff and families
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with staff, students, parents, and the community

Salary: As Per Negotiated Contract
