POSITION: Kindergarten - Fifth Grade English Language Arts/ Mathematics Interventionist
QUALIFICATIONS: Kindergarten - Fifth Grade Elementary Teaching Certification
Reading Specialist Certification, recommended but not required
OVERVIEW:
Mary Bray Elementary School is seeking a dedicated Interventionist to join our team. The Interventionist will work
closely with students, teachers, and parents to provide targeted support and interventions to enhance student
learning and success.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement individualized academic and behavioral intervention plans tailored to students
- Collaborate closely with classroom teachers to ensure interventions align with curriculum and
instructional goals
- Deliver targeted instruction in small groups or one-on-one settings to support student learning
- Monitor and document student progress, making data-informed adjustments to intervention strategies
- Administer and interpret assessments to identify learning needs and measure student growth
- Support teachers in adopting and applying evidence-based instructional practices and interventions
- Maintain consistent communication with parents, teachers, and administrators to share student progress
and strategies for support
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong background in curriculum development and instructional design
- Demonstrated experience working with diverse student populations
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with educators, families, and
administrators
- Proficiency with educational technology tools
- Ability to analyze student performance data to inform instructional decisions
- Experience supporting students within a K–5 educational environment
