Science Teacher at Grace Wilday Junior High School 

Job Summary:
The position is a Science Teacher at Grace Wilday Jr High School for the 2024-2025 school year.
 
Qualifications:
  • Appropriate NJDOE Teacher certifications; Highly qualified status preferred
  • Comprehensive certifications preferred
  • Strong disciplinary and organizational skills
  • Ability to work as a member of a team
  • Ability to exercise good judgment and promote a safe and secure learning environment
  • Focus on inquiry-based learning, student discourse and science practices
  • Instruction based on interdisciplinary, NGSS aligned curriculum 
  • Develop students’ practices of questioning, modeling, constructing explanations, data analysis, argumentation, planning and conducting interactive labs.
