ASSISTANT ADULT SPECIAL SERVICES INSTRUCTOR

The Northern Region Educational Services Commission (NRESC), located in Passaic County, has an opening for a Assistant Adult Special Services Instructor at our day habilitation center located in Totowa, NJ.  This program provides day services to medically fragile adults with special needs.

• Ability to transport students in wheelchairs and other mobilization devices.
• Assist with the presentation of lessons and provide access to student learning.
• Demonstrate the ability to collaborate with staff and families.
• Ability to communicate effective in English, both orally and in writing, with students, staff, parents, and community.
• Experience working with children with therapeutic needs is preferred.
• Familiarity with Google Applications (Slides, Sheets, Docs and Drive)
• Full-Time – 12 month position (with benefits)
