Teacher of Army Military Science

Staff Needed:  One (1) Army Instructor of Military Science
 
Qualifications:
 

• Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree
• Certified JROTC instructor by US Army Cadet Command
• Must hold a NJ Teacher of Military Science certification
• Must be a retired active duty or gray area Reserve/National Guard (20 years of service or more) Non-Commissioned Officer Staff Sergeant through Command Sergeant Major (E6 to E9) or Chief Warrant Officer CW3 through Warrant Officer CW5 if a Commissioned Officer is the SAI/Chairperson.
• Meet current height and weight standards as outlined in appropriate Army Service regulations
• Must demonstrate the professional ability to motivate and influence young men and women to learn and develop leadership, self-reliance and discipline, responsiveness to constituted authority, and attributes of good citizenship and patriotism.
• Provide proof of US Citizenship or legal resident alien status by completing Federal Form I-9 in compliance with the Immigration and Reform Control Act of 1986
• Provide evidence of a completed Child Care National Agency Check and Inquiries (CNACI) mandated by the United States Army Cadet Command.
• Provide evidence that criminal record history check has been conducted and clearance has been granted by the United States Army Cadet Command and the NJ Department of Education.
