Description
Job Title: Custodians, Full-Time (Multiple Positions)
Reports To: Supervisor of Custodians, Building Custodial Coordinator, and Building Principal
Job Purpose: To maintain and clean school buildings that provide staff and students with an environment that is conducive for teaching and learning.
Qualifications-Required:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Black Seal Boiler License
Ability to speak and understand English
Excellent work ethic
Ability to follow directions
Ability to work alone or with others
Ability to pass the required Criminal History Review
Able to pass the Sexual Misconduct/Child Abuse Disclosure Process
Able to pass pre-employment physical
Qualifications-Desired:
Experience working in a school district
Duties/Responsibilities:
Performs tasks as directed by the BCF and/or Supervisor of Custodians
Completes tasks in the time frame provided by the BCF
Works in assigned area as directed
Works with others as directed
Follows all cleaning directions as provided by BCF and/or Supervisor of Custodians

12-Month, Full-Time
Prorated Salary minimum of $39,555 (Custodial Step 1)
Shift Differential after 6:00 pm

Able to lift at least 50 lbs above the waist
Able to raise arms over head to clean
Able to climb ladders
Able to swing arms in order to mop floors
Able to walk up/down stairs
Able to bend at the waist and knees to clean
Able to stand for long periods of time
Able to shovel snow, when necessary
Able to work with school approved cleaning fluids
