Tenure Track Middle School Special Education Math Teacher Position

The East Rutherford School District invites applications for a dedicated and experienced Middle School Math Teacher for a tenure-track position starting on January 2, 2025. The ideal candidate will bring a robust knowledge of the New Jersey Student Learning Standards for Math and a commitment to fostering a dynamic, inclusive learning environment for middle school special education students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver engaging math lessons that accommodate diverse learning styles and needs.
• Design and administer assessments that are aligned with New Jersey Student Learning Standards for Math.
• Utilize data to tailor instruction and provide students with constructive, timely feedback.
• Collaborate with colleagues to create and implement interdisciplinary curricula and projects.
• Maintain accurate, current records of student progress and grades.
• Build and sustain positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.

Qualifications:

• Valid New Jersey teaching certification in Middle School Math.
• Special Education certification required.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Math Education or a related field.
• Proficiency in New Jersey Student Learning Standards for Math.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
