Paraprofessional

We are looking for one-to-one aides for students, ages 5-21 years old, with cognitive and behavioral issues within a self-contained special education school. Hours are 8:00AM - 3:00PM, with a half-hour unpaid lunch.

12-Month school program.

Requirements:

Candidate must possess or be eligible for Paraprofessional Certification

• an Associate's Degree; or 60 college credits
• or passed the Praxis Para-Pro exam.

Preferred:

• Crisis intervention: 2 years (preferred)
• Working with students with disabilities: 2 years(preferred)
• Knowledge of ABA therapies

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $31,000-$33,000 per year
