The Egg Harbor City Public School District has the following position available for the 2024-2025 school year:
- 1 Part-Time (.85FTE/29.75 hours/week) Classroom Aide– Charles L. Spragg Elementary School
JOB FUNCTION:
To assist the classroom teacher in providing a well-organized, smoothly functioning educational environment in which students may take full advantage of the instructional programs and available resource materials.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma; minimum NCLB Paraprofessional mandated requirements as defined by the NJ Higher Education Assistance Authority (60 College Credits)
- Minimum experience as determined by the board
- Knowledge of child growth and development and appropriate classroom practices and demonstrated ability to assist with instructional activities
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents and school staff
- Required criminal history background check and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status
