Design and implement engaging STEAM projects and challenges for students in grades K–5.
Collaborate with classroom teachers to support cross-curricular integration of STEAM concepts.
Incorporate technology and media tools into instruction to enhance student learning and digital literacy.
Foster an inclusive and student-centered learning environment that promotes inquiry, exploration, and critical thinking.
Maintain and manage a STEAM Lab, including materials and digital resources.
Support school-wide innovation initiatives and contribute to a culture of creativity and experimentation.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Education, STEM field, or related area (Master’s preferred).
Valid teaching certification.
Background in math, science, engineering, or a related STEAM field.
Demonstrated experience or strong interest in media, digital tools, and educational technology.
Creative, forward-thinking educator who is passionate about experiential learning.
Preferred:
Experience with makerspaces, robotics, coding, and/or media art.
Media specialist certification or coursework (not required but beneficial).
Familiarity with NGSS, ISTE standards, and design thinking methodologies.
