Overview:
Riverfront School is seeking a dynamic, creative, and enthusiastic Technology Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional skills in educational technology, a deep understanding of how to integrate technological tools to enhance student learning, and a passion for supporting students’ academic growth through the use of cutting-edge resources.
Responsibilities:
Teach middle school technology courses, ensuring alignment with NJ State Standards and district curriculum goals.
Incorporate technology to support student engagement, creativity, and achievement.
Stay current with trends in educational technology and instructional strategies.
Develop lesson plans and assessments that integrate technology to facilitate learning and improve student outcomes.
Provide instruction in the use of various digital tools and resources, preparing students for the demands of the 21st-century workforce.
Collaborate with colleagues to promote the integration of technology across content areas.
Ensure that students develop technological proficiency in accordance with NJCCS 8.1 & 8.2.
Foster a safe and supportive classroom environment that encourages innovation and critical thinking.
Qualifications:
Valid New Jersey middle school endorsement in Technology or Math.
Exceptional skills in educational technology and the ability to incorporate it effectively into teaching practices.
In-depth knowledge of NJ State Standards, particularly NJCCS 8.1 & 8.2.
Proven ability to engage and inspire middle school students in a tech-driven learning environment.
Experience with or a willingness to learn how to use emerging technologies in education.
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.
