Special Education Teacher- Teacher of Autism

REPORTS TO:
Director of Special Services, Principal or designee

REQUIREMENTS:

Must hold or be eligible for Teacher of Students with Disabilities or TEacher of the Handicapped certification
Experience working with students with Autism preferred

DESCRIPTION:

Assisting in the development of student's individualized education programs
Providing direct ABA- based instruction to students with autism
Collecting and analyzing student performance data
Collaborating in the creation of curriculum and supplemental instructional materials
Development of IEP goals and objectives
Use and integrate technology in the clasroom setting and curriculum
Classroom management strategies and techniques

REMUNERATION:
The salary will be in accordance with the applicable KEA contract.
