Ewing Public Schools anticipates an employment opportunity for a Comptroller. This position will be responsible for managing all aspects of the payroll, budgeting, accounts payable and purchasing functions of the school district.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Possess a Bachelor’s degree in the field of Accounting or related field required.
- Possess three years’ experience working in payroll, finance, and management. Prior experience in public school finance is preferred.
- Possess demonstrable knowledge of regulations pertinent to payroll, general accounting and fiscal management.
- Ability to multi-task and flexible with a changing schedule.
- Exhibits a personality that demonstrates strong interpersonal skills to relate well with staff and administration.
- Possess a high degree of proficiency in technology, bookkeeping skills, data processing, payroll and other software systems.
- Must meet all legal, health requirements and physical demands, including criminal history background check, as set forth by State Law and/or the Board of Education.
