Job Goal: |

Qualifications: |
- Technical School graduate
- Technical training and/or experience to install, operate, repair and maintain complex and standard computer and other technical equipment
- High School graduate
- Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the board may find appropriate and acceptable.

Performance Responsibilities |
- Installs, maintains, and repairs computer, and other electronic equipment.
- Installs, upgrades, and maintains software programs.
- Provides assistance in the training of staff in the use of software, proper computer use, networking and overall troubleshooting.
- Provides on-site diagnosis of malfunctioning or inoperative hardware, software and networked equipment.
- Evaluates, repairs and reinstalls any computer, electronic and/or network equipment capable of being repaired in district.
- Provides routine cleaning and maintenance of all computer, and other electronic equipment.
- Monitors the cost and services of outside vendors selected to provide complex maintenance and repair services.
- Maintains an inventory of basic repairs, maintenance and supply items for district technology and audio-visual equipment.
- Assists in the development of the district’s budget for technology and audio-visual supplies and equipment by assisting with the inventory process.
- Assists in the selection of computer, and other electronic equipment.
- Inspects, distributes and inventories newly purchased equipment and supplies.
- Arranges for the operation of equipment for special programs and events.
- Works to upgrade skills and knowledge in order to keep pace with new technological developments.
- Assumes other responsibilities delegated by Director of Technology or designee.
- Well-versed in the imaging process using tools available to care for multiple computers.
- Ability to follow procedures outlines in department and district policies and procedures.

Starting salary of $50,000.00 |
