Job Summary:
This is a School Psychologist for the District - Anticipated 2024-2025 school year.


Qualifications:
  • Holds a New Jersey Educational Services Certificate with a School Psychologist Endorsement.
  • Holds a 60-credit combined Master’s Degree and Professional Diploma or equivalent earned from an approved School Psychologist program.
  • Demonstrates ability to effectively provide psychological evaluations, psychosocial assessments, counseling services and student mental health consultative services.

Responsibilities:

  • Serves as a member of the Child Study Team and performs all responsibilities in accordance with NJ Special Education Administrative code, and Board policies/regulations.
  • Develops with other Child Study Team members, teachers, and parents, an Individualized Education Program (IEP) for each identified student.
  • Serves as a case manager for students referred and classified as Eligible for Special Education following NJ Department of Education guidelines. In this role as a case manager, coordinates and serves as a facilitator for all special education mandated meetings.
