Description ATHLETIC DIRECTOR

LOCATION: Hightstown High School

EFFECTIVE DATE: Mid-Februrary, 2025

QUALIFICATIONS:

Valid New Jersey CE/Standard Principal Certificate required
Valid New Jersey Teacher Certificate;
Five years successful teaching experience as a classroom teacher
Demonstrates strong interpersonal, problems solving, decision-making, and communication skills
Demonstrated leadership in the organization and administration of a district-level athletic program
Ability to maintain a positive learning environment and high standards of conduct for athletes
Required criminal history background check and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status

SALARY AND BENEFITS: In accordance with negotiated agreement

WORK YEAR: 12-month position
