QUALIFICATIONS

  1. Previous experience in law enforcement or security work.
  2. Valid New Jersey Driver’s License.
  3. Demonstrated aptitude or competence for assigned responsibilities.
  4. Such alternatives to the above qualification as the board of education may find appropriate and acceptable.
  5. Meets the health qualifications required of all personnel.
  6. Twenty-one (21) years of age or older.
  7. Hold a high school diploma or its equivalent.
  8. Have three (3) years of experience as a security officer and show evidence of successful experience working with students.
  9. Hourly rate based on experience.

 

Responsibilities:

 

*To support administration in providing a safe learning environment.

*To display ethical and professional behavior in working with students, parents, school    personnel, and outside agencies associated with the school.

*To perform any duties and responsibilities that are within the scope of employment, as assigned by their supervisor and not otherwise prohibited by law or regulation. 

*Possess the physical and mental capacity to perform major job responsibilities including but not limited to the ability to lift 50 pounds. 

 

Required criminal history background check and proof of US citizenship or

legal resident alien status

Must be NJ resident within one year from date of hire
