Long Term Physical Education Teacher

Downe Township School District, a preschool through eighth grade district located in Newport, New Jersey, is seeking applicants for the position of long term substitute Physical Education Teacher. 

Postition: 

The Superintendent invites qualified applicants to apply for the position of long term substitute Physical Education Teacher to begin on or about February 3, 2025. The position will be open until filled. 

Qualifications: 

• Appropriate NJDOE teaching certifications. Substitute certificate holders may apply.
• Required criminal history background check, physical, and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status
• Strong organizational skills
• Strong classroom management and disciplinary skills
• Ability to work as a member of a team
