Qualifications

NJ Teacher of English As A Second Language certificate required, dual certification in bilingual preferred
Knowledge of the WIDA, NJ & New Jersey Student Learning Standards, Common Core Standards
Knowledge in best practices in English as a Second Language, Sheltered English instruction and Literacy instruction
Experience with ACCESS and/or WAPT & MODEL tests preferred
Experience with Google for Education preferred
Knowledge/evidence of implementation of best practices for supporting an inclusive environment and opportunities for students preferred
Knowledge of Least Restrictive Environment regulations preferred
