Description

Qualifications:

  1. High School Diploma
  2. Paraprofessional training preferred
  3. Experience in school setting preferred
  4. Demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively in the English language, both orally and through written expression
  5. Must complete required health examinations and immunizations
  6. Must pass required criminal history background check
  7. Provide proof of U. S. citizenship or legal resident status
  8. Possess basic technological skills as required by position

  9. Follows all IEP modifications as directed by the teacher
  10. Demonstrates ability to support a safe, healthy, and effective learning environment
  11. Prepares and organizes materials to support teaching and learning
  12. Establishes rapport and maintains respectful relationships with students
  13. Demonstrates ability to support individual student behavior plans
  14. Demonstrates ability to communicate with and respond to students’ families as appropriate
  15. Demonstrates ability to maintain positive working relationships with colleagues
  16. Provides toileting assistance as required per student IEP
  17. Presents a professional appearance
  18. Maintains regular attendance so as to ensure continuity of instruction and/or operation of school district
  19. Perform other duties as assigned by the Superintendent and/or his/her designees
