Elementary Teacher (Special Education) Positon

Description: Enthusiastic Elementary Special Education Teacher to foster and facilitate the intellectual and social development of children.

Qualifications: Candidates should possess:

• NJ Certification Teacher of the Handicapped or Students with Disabilities 
• Required criminal history background checks.

Responsibilities

• Follow district approved curriculum and provide instruction for students.  
• Prepare lesson plans and establish course goals.
• Provides individual and group instruction.
• Use a variety of activities and instructional methods to motivate and stimulate children’s abilities
• Maintain an open line of communication with parents and provide appropriate information
• Assess students performance and progress to ensure they are mastering the skills on a regular basis
• Follow and comply with teaching standards and safety regulations

Start Date: August 27, 2025

Salary: Based on HTEA agreement
