MAINTENANCE FOREMAN (12 MONTHS)
2024-2025 SCHOOL YEAR
DISTRICT

We are presently accepting applications for the following position.
MAINTENANCE FOREMAN (12 MONTHS)

QUALIFICATIONS:

Black Seal boiler license or willing to obtain within two years of employment
High School Diploma or GED
Working knowledge of mechanical trades, HVAC, plumbing and electrical troubleshooting and repair
Five years of experience involving mechanical trades, with two years of supervision, preferred
Demonstrated knowledge of plant operation, maintenance and management, repairs, and school safety
Ability to instruct, supervise, and personally perform safe, proper, and efficient use of maintenance equipment
Competency in examining school buildings on a regular basis for needed repairs and maintenance
Proficient in scheduling hours, work orders and daily duties for assigned staff
Ability to safely operate district vehicles and machinery
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with students, parents, staff and the general public
Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends, when needed
