Speech Language Pathologist - Part-time Leave Replacement 

Description: 

Part-time positions available beginning  the middle of February (Date - TBD) through the end of the school year.  Position may also be available for extended school year during the summer months.  Successful candidates will deliver speech and language services as required by student IEPs and I&RS plans, receive referrals, assess students for eligibility, and develop IEPs and re-evaluate students as needed.  We are looking to hire for both our elementary and middle schools.  

Qualifications: 

• MA/MS in Speech Pathology from an accredited college or university 
• New Jersey Department of Education Standard Certificate or CEAS as Speech Language Specialist required
• American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) certification and New Jersey Licensure in Speech Pathology preferred
• Experience with Augmentative Communication Devices
• Ability act as case manager and communicate effectively with staff and families
• Ability to interact with other educational professionals to develop appropriate programming and provide excellent services to students 
• Experience with preschool/elementary students preferred
