Responsibilities
- Implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs.
- Utilize behavior management techniques to support students' learning and development.
- Collaborate with teachers and therapists to create a supportive learning environment.
- Provide one-on-one assistance to students with diverse learning needs.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff.
- Support classroom activities and assist with curriculum implementation.
Qualifications
- Classroom management skills
- Experience working with children in an ABA classroom setting
- Knowledge of special education practices and Individualized Education Programs (IEP)
- Strong communication and behavior management skills
- Experience in working with students with diverse needs, including developmental disabilities and autism
- Background in early childhood education or related field is preferred
