Description POSITION:                                     SCHOOL NURSE
                                                         2024-2025 SCHOOL YEAR
                                                        START DATE: NOVEMBER 2024

RESPONSIBILITIES:                    * Provide nursing services in accordance with school nursing certificate.
                                                       * Maintains up-to date health records.
                                                       * Provides emergency care and administers first-aid to students or staff according to 
                                                         established policies and procedures.
                                                       * Administers prescribed medication to students in accordance with law and board 
                                                        policy. Provides training and supervision of the emergency administration of epinephrine
                                                        for designated school staff.
                                                        * Performs other appropriate duties as required under law and board policy or as may be
                                                         assigned by the principal and/or Director of Special Services.

QUALIFICATIONS:                      * Valid New Jersey School Nurse Certificate
                                                      * Required criminal history background check and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident
                                                       alien status in accordance with State and Federal regulations

SALARY:                                       Per Board of Education Agreement
