Description The North Plainfield School District, a culturally diverse school district in Somerset County serving 3,700 students Pre-K through grade 12, seeks a dynamic, enthusiastic and innovative professional for the position of Middle School Mathematics Interventionist.  
 
For those still in the process of attaining certification, please know that the North Plainfield School District is approved for participation in the NJDOE Limited Certificate Program which may allow you to work in a full time role as you complete your final certification requirements.  North Plainfield also offers a competitive benefits package.
 
Qualifications Include:
  • Possess Mathematics certification
  • Understanding of how data can tailor intervention support needed for student success.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a push-in and pull-out setting
  • Experience providing skill based intervention to small groups
  • Ability to analyze data and set measurable goals for student groups
  • Can develop a system to progress monitor student achievement in goals and share out with all stakeholders
  • Develops a school to home connection helping caretakers work on skills for supplemental at home work
  • Excellent communication skills both orally and in writing
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred, but not required
Salary: $66,765 (minimum) to $99,470 (maximum) commensurate with experience
