Licensed - Teaching - Elementary

Hope Academy Charter School is seeking a qualified individual to teach Elementary School.
The position requires a strong ability to create units/lessons that integrate NJSLS for all content areas skills and concepts. In addition to an in-depth understanding of NJSLS, must be knowledgeable regarding how to align assessments properly to instruction and use data to drive instruction.

Hope Academy serves an urban, low-income community. This position requires an individual that has experience in urban settings, has strong classroom management skills, is organized and understands the value of forming positive relationships with students and families.

Required:

• Grades K-6 teaching experience preferred
• Urban teaching experience
• NJ Certificate for Elementary Teacher (Standard Certification Preferred)
• Proven record of improving classroom culture and climate
• Strong classroom management skills
