Description
- Provides for a classroom environment that is conducive to learning.
- Promote the educational growth of students, commensurate with student ability as described in individualized educational plans (IEP).
- Ability to relate to culturally diverse students desired.
Qualifications
- Valid New Jersey Teacher of Students with Disabilities Certification and/or valid New Jersey Teacher of the Handicapped
- Valid New Jersey Teacher of PK-3 or PK-6
- Willingness to work with students with diverse needs.
- Ability to maintain a positive learning environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Possess the physical and mental capacity to perform major job responsibilities including but not limited to the ability to lift 50 pounds.
Physical Requirements

The employee must lift and/or move a minimum of 50 pounds.

Must be NJ resident within one year from date of hire
