Board Certified Behavior Analyst

We are searching for a full time Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our growing team.  The role of the BCBA is to collaboratively develop and implement behavioral interventions to facilitate students’ attainment of social and emotional growth consistent with the goals set forth by Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and with the total educational philosophy and goals of Hawkswood School.  This new position is available starting immediately or with proper notice to current employer.  

The BCBA works in coordination with school staff members, administration, and parents in identifying social/behavioral issues, as well as planning, developing, and implementing programs for students to remediate behavioral and social issues.  The BCBA communicates effectively and provides ongoing training for teachers, related services providers, paraprofessionals, and other support staff in the areas of behavior management skills and affective education. 

Hawkswood School runs a 12-month program.  The work schedule is Monday – Friday, 8am – 4pm. 

Hawkswood School is a private school in Eatontown, New Jersey, approved by the State of New Jersey to provide special education services and supports to students on the autism spectrum and to students with multiple disabilities, ages 3 to 21. A qualified candidate must possess the following:

-  A Master’s degree from a regionally accredited college

-  Board Certified Behavioral Analyst (BCBA) Certification

 Previous school-based professional experience is preferred.
