IMMEDIATE OPENING

 The Lakehurst Board of Education is seeking applications for the following position:

  Full-time Teacher
 Physical Education Teacher 

 QUALIFICATIONS:

• NJ Standard Certification required
• Multiple Certifications Preferred (i.e. Special Education, Elementary Education, etc.)
• Strong Instructional, leadership and organizational background
• Knowledge of educational software applications
• Knowledge of curriculum modifications
• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing with staff, students, parents and the community
• Have excellent experience in teaching and working with adolescents
• Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of child growth and development, effective instructional strategies, classroom management, learning assessment and diagnosis, and research related to learning  

SALARY:       Per negotiated contract
