Rock Brook School is an approved private school for students with disabilities ages 3-21.

*NJDOE Certification as a ToH or ToSD required, but we will consider a NJ certified teacher interested in pursuing special ed certification. Financial aid will be provided to selected candidates required to take additional coursework to earn ToSD certification.
Your role as a Special Education Teacher will involve a number of responsibilities which will include, but are not limited to the following:
- Teach in an inclusive class, sharing responsibilities with an SLP and other related service therapists and specialists.
- Employ multisensory teaching strategies and specialized instruction as needed based upon student’s specific disabilities.
- Implement student modifications and accommodations.
- Use student IEPs, evaluations, and present levels of performance to ensure services are being delivered at a high level.
- Use data to teach academic and social skills.
- Track student performance and be responsible for continual improvement in student growth objectives.
- Administer and track assessment data to monitor progress.
- Create action plans to improve student performance.
- Participate in school and parent meetings.
- Participate in school events, activities and programs during the school day and in the evening as needed.
Compensation & Benefits:

Salary: $62,000 - $86,000
