Description
Please be advised that the following position will be available immediately:
PAYMASTER
District – Business Office
The district paymaster is responsible for the preparation, processing and monitoring of district payroll; processing applications, forms and payroll deduction remittances for the Division of Pension; preparing and maintaining quarterly and annual pension and tax reports; prepares W-2 forms; and processes unemployment claims.
Qualifications:
Experience in payroll, tax and NJ State pension-reporting programs preferred.
Experience in school payroll preparation desirable.
Possess demonstrated knowledge and skill in business computer operations, experience with SYSTEMS 3000 desirable.
Possess superior writing and organizational skills as well as ability to multi-task, complete tasks error free, meet deadlines, and be attentive to detail.
Possess ability to communicate and work effectively with staff, administrators, vendors, government agencies and school office personnel concerning payroll information.
