Thorough knowledge of N.J.A.C. 6A:14 and its requirements
Performs duties as required as a member of the child study team guided by administrative code, state and federal laws and board policy.
Assess and analyze a student's academic achievement and learning characteristics, utilizing appropriate measurement tools.
Share evaluation and/or observations findings in written and oral reports with appropriate staff and families to provide effective interventions and program recommendations.
Develops and implements an appropriate individualized education plan (IEP) for students who are eligible for special education and/or related services.
Ability to work independently as a child study team case manager and collaboratively as a member of the child study team.
Knowledge of dyslexia and strategies to support students.

Maintain positive, cooperative and supportive relationships with the administration, staff, students and parents.
