Monitoring school grounds, controlling access to the building, assisting in emergency situations, and collaborating with school personnel to maintain a safe learning environment.

Responding to incidents, enforcing school policies and regulations, and providing support during drills or crises.

Follows building procedures during emergencies or disasters and ensures they are executed effectively.

Notifies building administration, police, and/or appropriate emergency personnel of any emergency, potentially dangerous, or unusual situations.

Monitors and assists students during morning arrival and afternoon dismissal to ensure a smooth transition.

Ensures students move efficiently through the hallways and arrive on time to class or assigned locations.

Assists with student supervision during breakfast and lunch periods.

Incident management and reporting involves assisting disruptive students by removing them from the classroom and escorting them to the appropriate supervisor or administrator

Notifying appropriate personnel when evidence of substance abuse, abuse, neglect, severe medical, social conditions, and potential suicide.

Promoting student responsibility involves modeling positive behavior, maintaining professionalism, ensuring confidentiality, and encouraging students to follow safety protocols.

Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with students, staff, administration, parents, and the community, while showing integrity and initiative.

Performs other duties as assigned by the Director of Security, Building Principal, or other appropriate building/district administrators.
