Description Livingston High School is currently accepting applications for a leave replacement Teacher of Italian at Livingston High School from August 25, 2025 through December 5, 2025. Individuals from underrepresented backgrounds are encouraged to apply. Compensation will be at Step 1 of the BA or MA guide, depending on the degree the successful candidate holds. This position is benefit eligible (medical, dental, Rx). No phone calls please. EOE.

Responsibilities:

  • Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes language acquisition and cultural understanding.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, administrators, and parents/guardians to support student learning and ensure a positive learning experience for all students.

Qualifications:

  • New Jersey State Certification in Italian (K-12) or eligibility for certification.
  • Strong proficiency in Italian language and cultural competence.
  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive and culturally responsive learning environment.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, students, and families.
