Math Long Term Substitute- Middle School

Leave Replacement - Middle School Math Teachers - Grades 6-8
2 positions available

• Replacement for teachers on a leave of absence
• Length of positions may vary

Requirements:

• Valid NJ Instructional Certificate (Teacher of Mathematics or 5-8 Subject Matter Specialization - Mathematics)
• Knowledge/experience with NJ Student Learning Standards for Mathematics
• Knowledge of state assessment test specifications (ie: NJSLA – Math)
• Ability to analyze data to drive instructional decisions
• Knowledge/Experience with Danielson’s Framework for Teaching (a plus)
• Ability to differentiate instruction/rigor by course level (ie: on grade level, accelerated level, and/or high school course content – in middle school)
• Willingness to work collaboratively with fellow department members
• Willingness to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners
• Background with implementation of Google Apps for Education
• Bilingual (a plus)

Salary:

• Days 1-20 - $130.00 a day
• Days 21 plus - $308.00 per day (23-24 salary guide)
  • *pending negotiations- Day 21+ = per HTEA Step 1 /day (2024/25 STEP 1 BA Teacher Guide)
