Principal Paradigm Therapeutic Day School

Position Overview:
Paradigm Therapeutic Day School is seeking a dynamic, experienced Principal to lead and manage the daily operations of our specialized educational environment. As the ideal candidate, you should have a passion for supporting students with emotional regulation impairments (ERI) and demonstrate strong leadership, communication, and administrative skills.

Duties

• Lead the development and implementation of educational programs that meet the needs of all students.
• Oversee daily school operations, ensuring compliance with educational regulations and standards.
• Manage school budgets effectively to allocate resources efficiently.
• Foster a positive school climate by promoting effective communication among staff, students, and parents.
• Engage in public speaking at school events, community gatherings, and board meetings to represent the school’s interests.
• Develop fundraising initiatives to support school programs and activities.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to set strategic goals for academic achievement and operational efficiency.
• Provide mentorship and support to teachers in classroom management and instructional strategies.
• Evaluate staff performance regularly and provide constructive feedback for professional growth.
• Address student disciplinary issues in accordance with established policies while promoting restorative practices.

Skills

• NJ Principal Certification & Master’s in Administration/Supervision.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in school leadership or equivalent roles.
• Strong background in special education and working with ERI students.
• Strong public speaking abilities to effectively communicate with diverse audiences.
• Proficient in budgeting to ensure financial health of the school.
• Knowledge of education administration principles and practices.
• Strategic planning skills to guide long-term initiatives for school improvement.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining focus on student outcomes.
• Experience in senior leadership roles within an educational setting.
• Familiarity with classroom dynamics and instructional methodologies.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $121,530.00 - $135,231.00 per year
