NJDOE Elementary K-5 Elementary Ed Certification Required, 5-8 Middle School Math or K-12 Math certification preferrred.
Teaching Experience preferred
 
Wildwood Elementary School is seeking a dynamic and dedicated 5th Grade Math Teacher to join our team. We are looking for an enthusiastic educator who is passionate about mathematics and committed to fostering a love of learning in students and possesses:
  • Strong understanding of NJSLA Math standards and vertical alignment across grade levels
  • Ability to create an engaging and inclusive classroom environment
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Commitment to professional growth and continuous learning
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Develop and implement engaging math lessons aligned with New Jersey Student Learning Standards (NJSLS) in Mathematics
  • Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students
  • Utilize data to inform instruction and support student growth
  • Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages problem-solving and critical thinking
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure vertical alignment of math instruction across grade levels
  • Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers to support student learning
  • Participate in professional learning communities and school initiatives
