The Director of Special Projects is a dynamic leader who works closely with the Superintendent of Schools, the Assistant Superintendent for Human Resources, and Business Administrator in the following areas: supervision of the district medical staff, implementation and development of the human resources and business office technology platforms, public relations and community engagement efforts, research design and evaluation projects, business partnerships, staff  supervision, harassment, intimidation, and bullying management, standardized testing and district confidential matters.

Qualifications:
1. Valid New Jersey School Administrator or Principal Certificate.
2. Minimum of five years of successful administrative experience.
3. Minimum of five years of successful teaching experience.
4. Strong interpersonal, communication, and written skills.

Experience:
Experience in teaching and/or public school administration preferred.  Knowledge of elementary school education philosophy and curriculum. A New Jersey Principal’s Certificate (or eligibility) is required.
