Middlesex Borough Public Schools Newly Expanded Preschool Program
Starting Janaury 1, 2025
The PIC/PIRS will support PEA-funded preschool classrooms within the District and/or in assigned Private Licensed Childcare Centers. PICs are funded in New Jersey's State Preschool Program to provide and maintain high levels of quality instruction by helping and supporting preschool teachers. The primary role of the PIC is to visit the classrooms and coach teachers using the reflective cycle.
NJDOE issued Standard Certificate required; Preschool through Grade 3 Cert # 1013
Minimum five (5) years experience teaching in preschool programs
Experience in implementing developmentally appropriate preschool curricula (C4L preferred, but not required)
