Custodial/Maintenance Position

Kenilworth Public Schools
Anticipated Start Date: December 10, 2024

QUALIFICATIONS:

Valid Black Seal - Low-Pressure Operator’s Boiler License.
Intermediate to advanced experience levels in HVAC Systems (automated and mechanical), Carpentry, Electrical and Plumbing required.
Ability to read, write and communicate effectively.
Required physical health examination and ability to perform tasks related to job.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in an educational facility-based maintenance department or equivalent.
Trade certifications and/or current licenses recognized.
Firm understanding of safety protocols desired (i.e. Right to Know/Hazardous Communication, Silica Exposure, Asbestos Hazard Emergency Response Act, Bloodborne Pathogens Exposure Control, Chemical Hygiene, Indoor Air Quality, and Integrated Pest Management).
Knowledge of Fire Safety Systems/Equipment and operations.
Snow removal experience required.
Required criminal history background check and proof of U.S. citizenship or legalresident alien status.

REPORTS TO: Supervisor of Buildings and Grounds

TERMS OF
EMPLOYMENT: 12-month position - Salary commensurate with experience, plus full benefits package.
