Description TITLE OF OPEN POSITION:                                     Full-Time Physical Therapist
                       
DATE POSITION WILL BE VACANT:                    February 13, 2025
 
APPLICATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED UNTIL:   January 8, 2025 or until a suitable candidate can be found
 
SALARY:      As per contract between the Board of Education and the Phillipsburg Education Association           
 
JOB DESCRIPTION:
1. Works with students PK to 12
Reviews student referrals
2. Evaluates students and writes evaluation reports
            3. Develops an appropriate plan of care
4. Provides effective services based
    on results of assessment processes
            5. Writes appropriate IEP goals and 
                Monitors students’ progress
            6. Participates in IEP meetings
            7. Provides coordination, communication
                and documentation to support student’s
                functional outcomes & program need
                                               
QUALIFICATIONS, MANDATORY:      1.   New Jersey Physical Therapy License
2.   NJDOE School Physical Therapy Certification
3.   Competence in knowledge/skills
4.   Student-centered
  1. Criminal history background check
 
QUALIFICATIONS, DESIRED:               1.   Experience working with children
                                                                        2.   Self-motivated
                                                                        3.   Cooperative
