Music Teacher – Elementary General/Vocal
 

JOB SUMMARY:        
 
Instructs pupils in a classroom environment that fosters learning and personal growth and works to achieve the educational goals
established by the district using approved curricula, textbooks, and other appropriate teaching materials.     
 
Specific responsibilities and qualifications include:
  • Strong pedagogical knowledge in elementary general music
  • Strong vocal modeling to teach and improve students’ vocal music performance
  • Knowledge and experience with elementary choral repertoire
  • Preference for strong piano accompaniment skills
 
REQUIREMENTS:                       
  • NJ Certification Music K-12
  • Exemplary Technology Skills
  • Ability to collaboratively interact with students, parents, and colleagues
