Under the supervision of the building Principal:
Essential Job Responsibilities:
Assists in the development and administration of school programs consistent with school district goals, objectives, and policies.
Established and maintains an effective learning climate in the school.
Assists administration in the development, revision, and evaluation of the curriculum.
Assists with staff evaluations and observations as assigned.
Prepares the preparation of reports, records, lists, and all other paperwork required or appropriate to the school’s administration.
Creates and promotes a positive behavioral support program, with emphasis on developing positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
Create, support, and attend special events held to recognize student achievement, functions, and athletic events as applicable.
Works collaboratively with the administration to oversee the daily use of the school facilities for both academic and non-academic purposes.
Performs such other tasks and assumes such other responsibilities as the principal may from time to time assign.
Qualifications:
Valid New Jersey Principal Certification or Certificate of Eligibility.
Three years of successful teaching experience, experience at the middle school level preferred.
Demonstrated leadership skills in the areas of student behavior and activities, staff motivation, curriculum development, and school improvement and morale.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Required criminal history background check and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status.
Salary: Per FTAA Agreement/ $95,000
