Description POSITION: REPLACEMENT SPECIAL EDUCATION TEACHER
SELF-CONTAINED (AUTISM)
PARADISE KNOLL SCHOOL DECEMBER 2024 - MARCH 2025

RESPONSIBILITIES: *Provide individualized and specialized instruction for students who receive
Special Education Services
*Experience in Self Contained Autism/ABA Class Preferred
*Experience in teaching special education students with moderate to severe
developmental disabilities (Autism Spectrum Disorders, Multiple Disabilities)
*Knowledge of appropriate teaching strategies and reinforcement procedures,
techniques used to address and deal with behavior and communication disorders
(e.g. Applied Behavior Analysis, Positive Behavior Supports)

QUALIFICATIONS: New Jersey Special Education Certification as Teach of the Hanicapped of Teacher
of Students with Disabilities

PAY SCALE: Per Board of Education/WMEA Agreement
