Assesses the accomplishments of students on a regular basis, seeking the assistance of district specialists, as required.
Develops reasonable rules of classroom behavior and procedure, and maintains order in the classroom in a fair and just manner.
Assists in upholding and enforcing school rules, administrative regulations and board policy.
Assists in curriculum development and in the selection of books, equipment, and other instructional materials.
Instructs, advises, coaches, supervises, and/or directs extracurricular activities.
Supervises behavior in the hallways, lunchroom, and on school grounds for the safety and well-being of students, personnel and visitors.
Attends staff meetings and serves on staff committees as required.
Performs other duties which may be within the scope of his/her employment and certification as may be assigned by his/her superior (s) under the authority of the Board of Education.
