POSITION:                   Anticipated Special Education Teacher
                                      District

REQUIRED CRITERIA:

NJ Teacher of the Handicapped Certification or Teacher of Students with Disabilities Certification with a secondar content area co-certification
Understanding of NJ Special Education regulations and IEP process
Understanding of how to deliver differentiated instruction to students on a variety of academic levels
Excellent written and oral communication skills, organizational, interpersonal and classroom management skills
Excellent technology skills
Excellent academic credentials

PREFERRED CRITERIA:

Experience with high school age students
Experience with in-class support setting
Knowledge of development and implementation of classroom behavior management plans
Teacher of Students with Disabilities certification with endorsements in Mathematics or Science
