School Social Worker

Qualifications:
 

• Valid NJ Educational Services Certificate (School Social Worker)
• Knowledge of laws and regulations governing special education and demonstrated ability to effectively provide social evaluations
• Experience with IEP Direct/Frontline IEP (a plus)
• Serves as a resource to students and parents to provide counseling that will lead each student to increased personal growth, self-understanding, and behavioral management; serves as liaison between home and school
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Demonstrate an effective ability to work as a team member
• Demonstrate an effective ability to complete paperwork in a timely fashion as regulated by district and state
• Experience with preschool (preferred)
• Bilingual (preferred)
• Mandatory criminal history background check and P.L. 2018 c. 5 clearance
