LUNCHROOM AIDE
2024-2025 SCHOOL YEAR
DISTRICT

We are presently accepting applications for the following positions:

Lunchroom Aide - Elementary School
5 sessions/maximum per week -(1 hour and 10 minutes session)
1 Lunch Period: 11:31 a.m. - 12:31 p.m. (Arrive 5 minutes before start of session and leave five minutes after)
($29.35/ per session )

Lunchroom Aide - Middle School
Thomas Jefferson Middle School
3 Lunch Periods: 11:19 a.m.- 11:59 a.m.; 12:02 p.m.- 12:42 p.m.; 12:45 p.m.- 1:25 p.m.
Memorial Middle School 
4 Lunch Periods: 10:36 a.m. - 11:16 a.m.; 11:19 a.m.- 11:59 a.m.; 12:02 p.m.- 12:42 p.m.; 12:45 p.m.- 1:25 p.m.
($25.15/ per hour)

Lunchroom Aide -  High School
2 Lunch Periods: 11: 20 a.m. - 12:05 p.m.; 12:10 p.m. - 12: 55 p.m. 
($25.15/ per hour)

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • To maintain a safe atmosphere for the students during lunch
  • Provide supervision through a continual visual observation of student activities and be able to alter situations which may arise that could result in the injury or harm to a student or students
  • Help students to resolve their individual and group conflicts which may interfere with and/or which may result in the disruption of acceptable lunchtime behaviors
  • Provide a positive model of behavior which students can observe on a daily basis (use appropriate problem solving techniques when confronted with situations needing intervention)
